hello.
as the title suggests, that is my idea of time. some people may disagree with me and others may agree with me. but dont ask me, i dont know either. its just an idea. a belief. hm. its the first time i'm trying out this blog thing. i have one already, on xanga. but that ones saved up for my story. you can go over there and check it out if you want to, as of today, it is currently at chapter21. www.xanga.com/nether91.
but. as xanga is saved up for my story. there was no where for me to have emo ramblings. xD. i mean my ramblings are not as emo as the others whom i can name out, but i'd just like to put down my thoughts. and feelings sometimes. and well. since i'm using this for the first time, i dont know whether the font is too tiny or whatever. so dont blame me if your eyes start decieving you and you start hallucinating about stuff. or nightmares. that sorta thing.
as a first post. i'd like to state my idea, or belief that time, is not just something that exists eternally.
to me. time is relative. and relative in terms of what? i hear you say. relativity is defined as something (time, for example) which cannot be explained exactly nor literally but can be related and compared to something else to explain what it means. that, to me is relativity. time is not merely a substance to weigh everyday chores on. as most people may think, time is a long-distnace runner, for instance. unrelentless in efforts to outrun opponents who are too slow. it runs continuesly, restlessly, never stopping to wait for anyone. everyone thinks that way dont they? well almost every one.
when people say ohh? whats the time now? i'm late. and the person that person is asking replies. oh, its 2.49pm now. great. the person who asked says. i'm late. but do time really works that way? can people ask about time just like that? i think theres more to time. much more than anyone can imagine. time is a universal feature. in no matter which universe (assuming that theres a multiverse) the time should be the same in all universes. but time is being warped onto itself as we are speaking. well, i am speaking right now.
acording to einsteins theory of relativity, which i have painstakingly 'attempted' to comprehend but failed miserably, time is relative to him too. it was not only a belief. it was a reaality to him. he stated, that time in all universes (assuming that there is a multiverse again) would be the same no matter where you stood. but factors that can bend time are causing them to be different. factors such as.
gravity.
you cant believe it? can you? that gravity can bend time. but in fact. in fact, readers of my blog. (i like saying that :D), gravity does bend time. we just dont see it happening. gravity even bends light. some say light and time are related. are they? i think they are.
as one would understand. light travels 300,000km in a second. now tell me, how many seconds are there in one minute? 60 x 60? how many minutes are there in an hour? 60 x 60 x 60? how many hour are there in a day? 60 x 60 x 60 x 24 right? now tell me, how many days are there in a week? 60 x 60 x 60 x 24 x 7. approximately how many weeks are there in a year? 60 x 60 x 60 x 24 x 7 x 52. the number is big enough isnt it? well let me tell you. this is the aprroximate number of seconds that occur in a single year. and how much might that be? 72576000. this is the approximate number of seconds that occur in a single year. ain't big enough for you? remember how i said that light travels 300,000km in a second? well. whats 725760000 x 300000? do the math. 2.17548 x 10^14. standard form. for you people who dont understand standard form. the number i just stated means 217548000000000. thats the approximate amount of kilometeres that light travels in a year. scientists has decided to call this eternal distance a'lightyear'.
see how time and light relates to each other? i shall continue on this topic another time. for i have to go now. :D. peace out everyone.
lucas.xD.
