Magical powers . =D .

I'm slipping deeper and deeper into my own world . All these lame things are coming to my mind so often , among other things . :) . Like . Magic .

Magic is the highlight of any fiction story . After reading so much books containing this element in it . I have come to this conclusion . Magic can be categorized .

Druidism : According to wikipedia , Druidism means disambiguation . Druidism involves pure nature . The ability to control that nature with magic . They revered when the night comes . Druids can grow trees out of nothing , they can look into the sun , stars and moon and bring prophecies of the future , they regenerate and rejuvenate the forests and dried up lakes . Druids learned thier art at the edge of magical lakes , reciting countless verses and divine incantations , sacred songs and prayers . Druids are most famous for thier ability to transform into an animal using magic alone .

Arcane Magic : Magicians who can bend and manipulate magic in its pure form are called Mages . They control Arcane Magic which is magic in its pure form . Using energy called mana , they call upon real magic . Magic in pure form . Pure energy . They bend and manipulate it , create and destroy it . They can create the energy to form physical objects or images , make things etheral or invisible . Slow the kinetic energies around objects , making it slower relative to time . They can transform people into farm animals , heal with divine arcane energies and throw powerful beams of pure energy .

Skald Magic : Magic the Norsemen used centuries ago . People who accomplishes these magics are called Bards or WiseWomen . They combine with a massive spiritual existence called the Lifeforce . The Lifeforce gives then gives them the power to temporarily bend the laws of the universe . Bards memorize long sagas and poems , they write praises for kings and brave warriors , sing with harps made of whalebone . They can trade souls with animals temporarily , they can do a countless amounts of charms and curses . The gift of breathing underwater , to light up a man's sword to find his way , to grant people the swiftness of a trout , the suppleness of an eel . Bards can also call fire and fog . They can talk to the animals , walk on water and calm storms . They can also blow on a wisp of straw and drive men mad .

Necromancy : Necromancer's are those who use this violate magic . In the greek language , Necromancy means a form of divination in which a practioneer summons spirits to do his/her bidding . Necromancers grow more powerful with the night . Sadistic , old men , they raise disembodied spirits and dead bodies . They animate skeletons and zombies . Necromancer's also hold a variety of poisonous potions and spells , making people become as frenzied as rabid dogs for example . Necromancers had the ability to summon demons with high pitched wails and reciting demonic incantations at the cost of thier lives .

Shamanism : Shamans are magic-users who are somewhat similar to Necromancers , only that they aren't evil and use thier powers for thier own good . Shamans believe in other spirit worlds and that spirits are all around us . They recite songs , dance and drum when meditating . They believe animals play important roles as message-bearers from the spirit world . Shamans are known to be healers and people who can control nature . They call upon the spirit of the wilds and they do thier bidding . Calling down lightning from the sky , splitting the earth and making a forest walk . Shamans use potions to enhance thier own magic-using ability and creating new forms or elements with strange properties . Like the ability to throw a lightning bolt which jumps to the nearest person .
